Google Native Property Listings: SEO Guide for Real Estate Agents

Native listings reward sites with strong schema and authority. Build the backlinks that earn trust signals.

Google is testing full property listings inside its search results. In December 2025, Search Engine Roundtable reported that the test shows property detail pages, links to request a tour, contact-an-agent options and more, directly in Google Search.

    What Google Is Testing

The listings in the test carry a disclaimer from Google: "These results are a curated selection of properties brought to you in paid partnership between Google and ComeHome. Property results are not supplied or sponsored by listing agents or brokers." (Search Engine Roundtable, December 2025).

Here's why that matters for you: in this test, buyers can view a property and reach out without first visiting an agent's website.

How Listings Are Sourced: Not Yet Clear

Beyond that disclaimer, it is not yet clear how listings are selected or whether individual agent websites can be included. The report does not say that schema markup, IDX setup or any other website change affects eligibility. We will update this page when Google publishes guidance.

    What Agents Can Do Now

None of these steps is a known route into Google's listing results. They are sound practice for local search regardless:

    1. Keep your Google Business Profile complete and accurate, so buyers who find a property can find you.
    2. Make sure your own listing and neighborhood pages are crawlable and useful. See our IDX SEO guide.
    3. Tighten brand entity signals (consistent name, address and phone details, named authors, sameAs links). See our schema markup guide.
    4. Build niche-relevant backlinks to strengthen your organic rankings (our packages).
    5. Watch for official announcements from Google before changing your site for this feature.
