Core Web Vitals
Last updated:
Quick definition: Core Web Vitals are Google's three page experience metrics: LCP, INP, and CLS.
What it means
Core Web Vitals (CWV) measure real user experience. LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) tracks loading speed, INP (Interaction to Next Paint) measures responsiveness, and CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) measures visual stability.
Thresholds for "good" are LCP under 2.5s, INP under 200ms, and CLS under 0.1.
Why it matters for real estate SEO
Failing Core Web Vitals directly suppresses rankings since 2021. Real estate sites loaded with high-resolution photos and IDX widgets are particularly vulnerable.
