Glossary Term
Organic Traffic
Last updated:
Quick definition: Organic traffic is the visitors who reach your website by clicking unpaid search engine results.
What it means
Organic traffic excludes paid ads (PPC), direct visits, social referrals, and email clicks. It is the visitor stream most directly attributable to SEO investment.
Organic traffic is measured in Google Search Console (clicks/impressions) and Google Analytics (sessions/users).
Why it matters for real estate SEO
For real estate agents, organic traffic produces leads at a fraction of the cost of paid ads. Results vary, but SEO keeps working after you stop paying, while ads do not.
